Licensing and crediting

The Norwegian Meteorological Institute's official data sources and products are freely available to the public for use, dissemination and further processing. You must familiarise yourself with the terms and conditions of the license for using our data, and comply with the applicable terms and conditions for the use of our services.

Data produced by us is free to use. The same applies to our open download services. Exceptions to the free principle apply to customised deliveries and with the dissemination of data produced by partners, or if special delivery guarantees are required.

Licensing

Data and products are licensed under Norwegian license for public data (NLOD) and Creative Commons 4.0 BY Internasjonal:
