These are required courses for personnel reporting weather information from different offshore installations to helicopter traffic on the Norwegian continental shelf. What kind of course you need, depends on what kind of installation/rig you are working on.
The courses are based on the regulations concerning Aviation weather services, appendix 3 - Requirements for qualifications and training, which can be found on Lovdata.
Some installations are required to send a METAR - Meteorological Areodrome Report. This course runs over 4 days, and covers both theory and practical weather observation. The course is customized to offshore installations on the the Norwegian continental shelf.

The course is conducted in one day. It includes both theoretical and practical updates and addresses any changes in regulations or practices.
This is a course for personnel reporting weather in conjuction with a helideckreport. It runs over 3 days, and covers theory and practical weather observation.
Participants: We reserve the right to cancel courses that do not have at least 3 participants.
The course fee includes course materials, lunch, coffee/mineral water etc.
